The IH500 system is a standard housing that fits the 20WP500, a standard 20” filter. This 20WP500 filter is a washable pleated purifier removing dirt and sediment down to 20 microns. It is designed to cope with the flow rate of a whole house and should be fitted on the main water line to the house after the pump. Ideally, when this system is used for rainwater we recommend a one micron sediment pre-filter which will remove the finer dirt and sediment, and be Giardia and Cryptosporidium safe.
