The Ultraviolet Steriliser UVT5500SS is a whole house Ultraviolet Steriliser (UV) used to treat water supplies that may be at risk to bacterial contamination. This system is particularly useful for treating rainwater supplies and other water sources that are at risk from bacterial or viral contamination such as E.cnoli, Hepatitis, Legionella, and Salmonella. Note this system should only be installed with a 1 micron pre-filter present to also protect against Giardia and Cryptosporidium, dirt and sediment.

This unit can be supplied individually to add to an existing water filter, or can be supplied as a complete package with the sediment pre-filter (UVT5500SS with 1SW500).
Ultraviolet Sterilisers are designed to kill bacteria and will not eliminate any other contaminants in your water supply such as tastes, odours, or chemicals. If you require other contaminants to be removed from your water supply, please contact us for a recommendation.
