The external rubber tap adapter is designed to be connected to the main kitchen tap spout, using a rubber connector that is fitted over the spout and attached to the tap with a metal clip. It has an external thread and is used when the kitchen tap spout has no thread, either external or internal to attach a chrome diverter to. A chrome diverter can then be attached to the external thread of the rubber tap adapter.
