The PAC500 filter is a 10 micron pleated carbon cartridge designed to fit a standard 20” housing. It can be used as a whole house filter on rainwater supplies to address light taste issues such as smoky tasting water. For rainwater, we recommend a sediment pre-filter down to 1 micron be used with the PAC500.
