This Crystal Pure OPH250 inline filter is designed to provide more alkaline water by adding minerals back into the water to raise the pH. If you are wanting to increase the pH of your drinking water, this is the perfect solution. It is also an ideal Reverse Osmosis (RO) polishing filter as it will increase the pH of your RO drinking water. This filter takes ¼” tubing, please contact us if you require fittings for larger tubing.
- The media in this filter is 70% Calcite and 30% Corosex.
- Calcite is made up of Calcium
- Calcite is a crushed and screened white marble media which can be used to neutralize acidic or low pH waters to a neutral, less corrosive state
- Corosex contains a form of Magnesium, the fourth most abundant mineral in the body
- Corosex is a specially processed hard, bead like magnesia, adapted for use in filters to neutralise water acidity by increasing the pH
- Designed for use with pH lower than 6.0
